Justin Ray Walker of Dayton, Ohio, 37 years of age, entered into the Lord’s care on January 02, 2023. Justin was a loyal son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, and friend. He brought laughter to everyone he was around. Justin was born to Vernon and Teresa Walker in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 1, 1985. He was a graduate of Frankston ISD in Frankston, Texas. Justin was a member of the Frankston Indians track team where he received high achievement awards. He excelled in the High Jump in Track and Field. He received a scholarship to Stephen F. Austin College for winning state, jumping a height of 6.5 feet. He was a member of the Frankston Indians Band where he was first chair in playing the trombone. He also played the quad drums. He realized later down the road that any instrument he picked up he could play. One of Justin’s passions along with playing music was singing and helping with Music Ministries. Justin was an employee of GCEC, Luminant, Oncor Electric and was currently employed at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio as a Patient Care Tech.
Justin is survived by his father, Vernon Ray Walker and mother, Teresa Lynette Walker of Ravenna Texas; his twin sister, Jessica Bollinger and husband, Seth of Caddo Mills Texas, and sister, Ashley Walker and husband, Austin of McKinney, Texas; grandparents, Lester and Wilma Mullis of Chelsea, Oklahoma; nephews, Wyatt, Garrett, and Ian Bollinger of Caddo Mills, Texas, Hunter and Rylea Walker of McKinney, Texas, and 17 cousins, loving aunts and uncles and a countless host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his Grandpa Vernon Walker, Sr. and Grandma Maxine Walker of Chouteau, Oklahoma.
Justin was known for his loving and compassionate heart to everyone that knew him. He loved leaving people laughing and feeling better about themselves. Justin had a zest for life and loved learning new things, traveling, and meeting new people.
A funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Trinity Tabernacle Assembly of God, with burial to follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening, January 13, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
