Jun Young Cho

Jun Young Cho, 88, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026, in Frisco, Texas.  He was born on August 12, 1938, in South Korea, to his loving parents, Nam Chul Cho and Hye Sook Joo.

Jun was a graduate of Seoul National University and dedicated more than 50 years of his professional life to Baylor College of Dentistry, where he was a valued member of the faculty. Throughout his life, he was deeply committed to his faith and served as an elder in the Presbyterian Church.

In his leisure time, Jun enjoyed the game of golf and cherished the friendships and memories made along the way. He will be remembered for his dedication to his profession, his faith, and the many lives he touched throughout his remarkable life. 

Jun is lovingly remembered by his son, David Cho and his wife, Christi of Prosper, Texas; grandson, Isaac Cho; brother, Joon Ho Cho; niece, Jennifer Kim; and a host of extended family members and dear friends who will deeply miss his presence and lovingly remember the time they shared with him.

Jun was preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife, Duk.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Following the funeral, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.  

The family will receive guests during a visitation from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at the funeral home.
