On October 18, 1970 Julius Lavon Thompson, Sr was born to Jacqueline M. Thompson and the late Adrain Dewitt Thompson. He entered eternal life the morning of Sunday, May 2, 2020.
On July 6, 1996 he and Christie N. Ellison joined in holy matrimony. To this union two children were born, Samantha Paige-Pauline and Julius (Jay) Lavon Thompson, Jr.
He leaves to mourn his transition and cherish memory his wife and children, his mother, Jacqueline M. Thompson; one brother, Sherman (Debra) Ingram of Monticello, Ar; four sisters, Kathy L. (Fred) Woods of Pine Bluff, AR; Sebrena (Gerald) Jones of McKinney, TX; Victoria (Timothy) McDonnell of Houston, TX; and his womb mate and twin, Kimbra (Gary) Deonne Hightower of Plano, TX. For his contributions to the Thompson and McCray lineages Uncle Julius will be fondly remembered by his nephews, Roderick Woods of Jacksonville, AR; Joshua Washington of McKinney, TX; Jeremy Ingram of Warren, AR; Terrence Ingram of Warren, AR; and Shaun Ingram of Warren and nieces, Kristi Woods of Jacksonville, AR; Sydni Jones of McKinney, TX and Kourtlynn Washington of Dallas, TX. He touched many lives in many positive ways and is missed by a host of family and friends with tears, laughter and numerous memories. We love you Julius. You remain remarkable.
In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of invited guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.
However, those who would like to honor Julius and show their support to his family may come to the funeral home where ample parking is available. While you remain in your vehicle, you may watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service by standing at a minimum distance of 20 feet from the tent and 6 feet apart from one another to comply with social distancing directives or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
