Julie Kay Haney peacefully passed away on October 1, 2023, in McKinney, Texas at the age of 74. She was born on July 12, 1949, in Des Moines, Iowa, to William and Marsha Hill. Julie was a devoted wife to her husband, Ronald Haney, whom she married on December 1, 1972, in Georgia. They shared 33 beautiful years together until Ronald's passing in 2005. Family meant everything to Julie, and she cherished her role as a mother and grandmother. She poured her heart and soul into providing for her children and creating a loving home. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Julie will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Sean and wife, Cortney, Brian and ex-wife, Charlotte and David; six grandchildren, Jordyn, Bailey, Stone, Jeremy, Chase, and Aidan; niece, Debbie Heiser, nephew, Chad Dorman; brother-in-law, David Dorman; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Haney; parents, William and Marsha Hill; sister, Karla Dorman; and nephew, Eric Dorman.
There are no services scheduled and thoughts of memorial flowers are appreciated, although they are simply not needed at this time.
