Julia Madison Ivey

Julia Madison Ivey of Carrollton, Texas passed away on October 19, 2021 at the age of 29. She was born on December 14, 1991 to Joe Bob and Angela Renee (Schreiner) Ivey in Carrollton, Texas.  Julia grew up in Alexandria, Kentucky where she graduated from Campbell County High School in 2010.  She worked for Fidelity Investments in Production Control and Client Services for over nine years. 

Julia was full of personality and brought a smile and joy to everyone she met. She used her sense of humor and quick wit to brighten many a day. Julia was quick to think of others and was always a champion to the underdog. Even in high school she stood up to the bullies and demanded justice from her peers and teachers. Julia loved animals and was proud to be a “dog mom” to Lola. Her free time was often spent with friends and attending live music events. Julia loved to be anonymously generous to the people around her. She made the world around her better. She volunteered her time to go on mission trips, and was deeply moved by people the world over. Everyone was her friend.

She is survived by her parents, Joe and Angie Ivey of Carrollton, Texas; sisters, Nicole Renee Zabojnik and husband, Randall of Wylie, Texas and Jena King and husband, Tony of Argyle, Texas; grandmothers, Mickey Ivey of Plano, Texas and Ginger Schreiner of Carrollton, Texas; nephew and nieces, Preston Zabojnik, Madeline Zabojnik, Addison Zabojnik, and Charlotte King; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Julia was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Larry Schreiner and Charles Ivey.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, October 25, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will be livestreamed at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/julia-madison-ivey.

Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
