Judy Kay Leveque

Judy Kay Leveque of Bonham, Texas formerly of Melissa, Texas passed away September 15, 2022 at the age of 69.  She was born on April 24, 1953 to Floyd Thomas Fisher and Eleanor Juanita (Gruber) Fisher in Springfield, Illinois.  She married James Ervin Leveque on March 14, 1984 in Springfield and they enjoyed many happy years of marriage.  Judy worked in retail sales for many years.  She was kind, charitable and a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the American Legion Riders. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Tonja Cross and husband, Vernon of Howe, Texas; sons, Tommy Coleman and wife, Jennifer of Van Buren, Arkansas and Ronald Coleman of Bonham, Texas; stepdaughter, Shelley Chitwood and husband, Anthony; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchild; sister, Beverly Culter and husband, James of Springfield, Illinois; brother, Patrick Fisher and wife, Tammie of Farmersville, Texas; first husband, Tommy Coleman, Sr. and companion, Gale Thurman; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, James Leveque; parents, Floyd and Eleanor Fisher and brother, Charles Fisher.

A remembrance gathering will be held on Friday evening, September 23, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75070.
