IN LOVING MEMORY

Judy Donette Enszer

Jul 08 1947 - Feb 26 2024

Judy Donette Enszer, age 76, of Frisco, Texas passed away on February 26, 2024, in Plano, Texas. She was born on July 8, 1947, to Thelma Jane Sumiye (Mabara) and Homer David Kahili Burge in Honolulu, Hawaii. On August 15, 1969, Judy married William Lowell Enszer in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Judy is survived by her husband of 54 years, William L. Enszer of Frisco, Texas; her three children, Sarah Kehaulani Powell and her husband, Charles of Frisco, Texas, Karen Keola Raquet of Carrollton, Texas, William Kane Enszer and his wife, Michelle of Houston, Texas; her five grandchildren, Jensen Paul Kahili Raquet, Alexis Kealohalani Raquet, Harrison Kane Enszer, Logan Kamaka Enszer, and Cameron Lilia Enszer; her siblings, Jane Ritchie Terry, Bonniegail Keola Jackson, Ray Scott Burge, and Homer David Kahili Burge.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Homer Burge.

Judy was a kind, thoughtful, loving, and strong Christian woman, who relied heavily on her faith during her battle with cancer.  She often called her cancer a “great inconvenience” as it kept her from doing many things that she loved: teaching ESL; traveling home to Hawaii; and attending church and small groups in person.

As a teacher, mother and friend, Judy brought joy and encouragement to many people. She was a great and vibrant storyteller and was also a person who genuinely loved to listen.  Judy sought the inner hearts of those she knew and was a wonderful encourager, and she was always able to find the perfect bible verse or hymn to lift them up. In return, she was fiercely blessed and loved by those she had known and she received an outpouring of love and support until her passing.

Her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends will miss her warm smile and loving guidance. They take solace in knowing she is with her Heavenly Father.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Plano on Friday, April 12th at 10:30a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Mission to the World www.mtw.org
