Judy B. McMullen

Judy Beth Richardson McMullen of Princeton, Texas passed away January 5, 2022 at the age of 79.  She was born on October 30, 1942 to Fred Stephenson and Eula (Riley) Stephenson in McKinney, Texas.  Judy attended McKinney High School before joining the McKinney work force.  She and her husband, Tommy Anderson, I raised their family in North Texas.  Judy was always working and had numerous jobs to help provide for her family.  Her family extended to the local cats in the neighborhood.  Judy knew all their names and their lineage.  She loved being able to take care of them. Judy was a fan of the Cowboys, whether that was PBR, Professional Bull Riding or the NFL, National Football League.  She was cheering on the Cowboys.  Judy also loved listening to classic country music.  Her favorites included Elvis and Johnny Tilson.  Judy’s love for her family was always present with all she did and she was always ready to lend a helping hand. 

She is survived by her sons, Tommy D. Anderson, II and wife, Penny of Josephine, Texas and Brent Anderson of Denison, Texas; five grandchildren, Franklin Clark, Brent Anderson, Jr. Jenny Strickland, Tommy D. Anderson, III, and Amber Dawn Anderson Wallace; twenty-two great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lynda Bryan; and granddaughter, Jade Marie Anderson.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.  Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.

The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
