Judy Adams Guy

Judy Adams Guy passed away February 26, 2024 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 78. She was born to Harold and Vera (Wauge) Adams on September 26, 1945 in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Judy enjoyed knitting, crocheting, solitaire, games, old tv shows, and caring for her various rescue pets throughout the years.  She loved watching her grandsons perform in theater and music and attended many shows and events to support their artistic endeavors.

Judy was active in 12-Step recovery for over 35 years helping others to heal from their own hurts by sharing her own experience, strength, and hope. She was also involved with several Methodist Churches in the North Dallas area.

Judy worked in the insurance industry most of her professional career. After leaving the insurance industry, she worked for several years as an Avon Representative. In both cases, her favorite part was helping others.

Judy is survived by her daughter, Kathy Graham and husband, Jim of Princeton, Texas; son, Max Droz and wife, Julie of The Colony, Texas; grandsons, Mitchell, Dylan, and Wynn; great grandson, Maddox; brother, John Adams of Ridgecrest, California; brother, Hollis Adams and wife, Kim of Newberg, Oregon; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her beloved sister, Nancy Allred.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 11, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/judy-adams-guy.
