Judith Sue Wallner passed away on March 19, 2023 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on April 4, 1946 in Knox City, Texas to Willie Ervin Blankinship and Nette Estell Jarrett.
She grew up in Goree and graduated from Goree High School. Right out of school Judith joined the work force as a bookkeeper for Haverty’s Furniture in Richardson, Texas. After a few years Judith took some time off to start her family with the birth of her daughter Rachel. Once Rachel started school, Judith resumed her work as a bookkeeper, eventually retiring from Time Warner after working for them for many years.
Judith was a talented artist. Judith loved to write poems and paint. Many of her creations showcased her love for animals. Judith loved her dogs, cats, and anything else with fur. When not displaying her talents as an artist or petting her fur babies, Judith loved reading. She could get lost in the novels she read.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Haley; grandsons, Joe Taylor Weatherly of Denton, Texas and Jason Weatherly of Denton, Texas; sister, Melba Feenster of Bedford, Texas; sister, Shirley Lambeth of Wichita Falls, Texas and sister, Jean Adkins and husband, Gene of McKinney, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Ervin Blankinship and Nette Estell Jarrett; brothers, Tuck and Joe; sisters, Margie Allen and Pat Davis.
