Princess Juanita Skinner Bartlett of Trenton, Texas passed away November 5, 2021 at the age of 88. She was born on August 4, 1933 to Joseph Leon Skinner and Elma Emlie McDowell Skinner in Westminster, Texas. Juanita married the love of her life, James Bartlett, on December 11th, 1952 in Sherman, Texas and they shared 44 years of marriage before his passing.

Juanita was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and word searches. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Leonard.

Juanita is survived by her children, Vickie Bartlett and husband Bob Hartman of Randolph, Texas, Beckie Goldammer and husband Dan of Trenton, Texas, Randy Bartlett and wife Lucretia of Leonard, Texas, and Linda Alley and husband James of Desert, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Hart, Casey Hart and husband Phillip Webster, Chrystal Jackson and husband Landry, Brandon Bartlett and wife Anna, Elford Alley and wife Katy, and Emily Chapman and husband Wes; great-grandchildren, Stevie Moon, Bray, Maddy, Ian, Griffin, Ruby, Lucy, Miles, and Alley; and her best friend and canine companion, Lacy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elma Skinner; husband, James Bartlett; and 12 siblings (Virgel, Arlin, Fay, Edith, Jody, Dorothy, Billy Joe, Travis, Mack, Shirley, and twin infants whom died at birth).

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2021 at Blue Ridge Cemetery, 684 Business 78, Blue Ridge, Texas 75424.

Pallbearers for Juanita’s service are Christopher Hart, Brandon Bartlett, Elford Alley, Phillip Webster, Landry Jackson, and Wes Chapman.
