Joyce Mae McGuffin of McKinney, Texas passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born June 8, 1935 to George and Ivy Rutledge in McKinney, Texas. Joyce was married Harry Lee McGuffin.

She is survived by her children, Billy Don McGuffin of McKinney, Texas, Harold Lee McGuffin and wife, Rhonda of Princeton, Texas, David Lynn McGuffin and wife, Lori of Farmersville, Texas, Eddie Glenn McGuffin and wife, Brenna of Farmersville, Texas, Joyce Lamay Mills of Celina, Texas, Helen Ann Gomez and husband, Mauel of McKinney, Texas and Mary Helen Adams and husband, Roger of Denton, Texas; 27 grandchildren; number of great-grandchildren; sister, Inez Tuley Flanagan and brother, Eddie Ray Rutledge of Sherman, Texas.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee McGuffin; sons, Robert Lee McGuffin, Bobby Lee McGuffin; daughter, Regina Mae Edwards; sister, Bernice Reynolds, Emigene Shirley; brothers, Roy Lee Rutledge and George Ramond.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Joyce’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/joyce-mae-mcguffin. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

When the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Joyce and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
