Joyce LaVerne Johnson, age 88, of Anna, Texas passed away on July 4, 2018 in Allen, Texas. She was born April 10, 1930 in Anson, Texas to Robert Cecil and Claircie Bearden Henderson. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.
Joyce is survived by sons; Michael Johnson and wife Cynthia, Mark Johnson and wife Tammy, brother, Cleo Henderson and sister, Sue Linam, grandchildren; Micah Love, Casey Johnson, Jennifer Mills, Clayton Johnson, Mindy Breslin, Misty Welch, Kayla Grier, Ashley Elder and Britney Johnson, 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by; husband, Herbert L. Johnson, daughter, Cindy K. Johnson, sisters, Norma Head and Wanda Henderson, brothers, Vernon Henderson and Hollis Henderson.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home, 107 N. Washington Street, Farmersville, Texas.
Funeral services will start at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with Chaplain Mark Grissom officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas.
