Joshua Lee Hewitt

Hewitt, Joshua Lee (Josh) died on May 21, 2020 in a motorcycle accident on the Talimena Parkway in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. He was born January 18, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Gary and Julie Hewitt. He grew up in Mesquite, Texas, where he was a star on the Mesquite High School basketball team. Josh started working part time while in high school in a t-shirt printing facility. After graduation he continued in that business and established his own, 3JG Printing, in Garland, Texas. Because of Josh's expertise, integrity and work ethic the business grew, and Josh became well known and respected in the industry.  Josh married his soulmate, Joanna Curtis, in 2006. They have two daughters Caitlin and Emily. They reside in McKinney, Texas.  Josh was baptized in the First Baptist Church of Fate, Texas when he was 7 years old.

He is survived by his wife Joanna; daughters, Caitlin and Emily; parents, Gary and Julie Hewitt of Richardson, Texas; paternal grandfather, Joe B. Hewitt of Hugo, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Janet Denniston of Richardson, Texas; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends.

Josh was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Don Denniston, and maternal grandmother, Marilu Hewitt.
