Joshua Nelson DuPreey of McKinney, Texas passed away on June 28, 2022, at the age of 34. He was born on August 6, 1987, to Stephen Floyd and Paula (Lewis) DuPreey in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his mother, Paula Allen and husband, William of McKinney, Texas; father, Stephen DuPreey of Dallas, Texas; sister, Kristen DuPreey of Rockwall, Texas; stepbrother, Zachary Allen and wife, Kayla of Allen, Texas; stepsister, Megan Kirby and husband, Isaiah Ortega of Plano, Texas; nephew, Carter Akridge of Plano, Texas; Uncle Bruce Lewis of Dallas, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Joshua was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia Lewis-Wynn, Billy Fred Lewis, Dorothy DuPreey, and Gladeo DuPreey.
Joshua found solitude in the silence. A small fishing hole or a piece of land in Oklahoma. He loved deeply for each and everyone he met. The man that would take his shirt off his back to cover you in the rain. He impacted so many so deeply, that we will always feel it in our bones. He danced his way into so many hearts, and he will remain there always. Forever loved and forever missed. Everyone’s “Bubba”.
