Joshua “Bear” Randall Hindman, 31, of Anna, Texas, passed away on January 27, 2025. He was born on February 12, 1993, in McKinney, Texas, to Randall Wayne and Tina (Cruthis) Hindman, III.
Joshua was a proud graduate of Van Alstyne High School, Class of 2011. He married Chrissy Pennington, in McKinney on December 23, 2013. Joshua enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, serving honorably from 2013 to 2018 at the Jacksonville, North Carolina Air Station New River. After his military service, he worked as a Project Manager for Pennington Mechanical, where he dedicated the past seven years of his career.
Joshua always had a smile on his face. From the time he was little, he loved babies and animals. He was the BEST Uncle ever and loved every second of being with them. Josh never wanted to be indoors. He loved traveling and seeing the world. He loved hunting, fly fishing, hiking, camping, shooting guns, and exploring all the places around him. He loved his family deeply and spent as much time with everyone as he could. He never met a stranger and has too many friends to count. He had a spirit about him that drew everybody in. He was always the person to bring laughter everywhere he went. He was an excellent Marine and received many awards and recognition for it. Josh was pure JOY! There will be a piece of our souls missing forever on this side of Heaven until we meet again. If you were to ask him what was the best thing in this life he ever did, he would say, marrying Chrissy, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life.
