Joseph Wills Hart

Joseph Wills Hart, born on June 4, 1955, in Denton, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 69. Joe was renowned for his hard work and kind and caring nature, often bringing smiles and laughter to everyone around him with his fun-loving spirit and unique humor.

Joe graduated from North Little Rock Northeast Senior High School in Arkansas and furthered his education by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mankato State University in Minnesota. His professional journey was marked by significant tenures at prominent companies such as AMF Bicycle, Square D, Texas Instruments, E Systems, and Raytheon, while simultaneously venturing into his passion as an Antiquities and Collectibles Dealer.

Beyond his professional life, Joe enjoyed walking the trails of Oak Point Park, and reading. His interest in collecting political memorabilia allowed him to connect with history and current events in a unique and personal way.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Pamyla Kaye Butler; sister, Karen Hart Mahurin (Jerry); nephews, Westbrook and Maxwell Mahurin; half-sister, Chenoe Hart; and step-mother, Mary Ann Gray.  Other surviving family include Aunt Wanda Murphy; cousins Virgil Dale Murphy, and Pam Howell; cousin Helen Janette Kelley; cousins Tracey Kelley and Allison Gaut; and Uncle John Valle, as well as many loving and supportive other family members and cherished friends.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Joseph Wesley Hart and Velda Fern Wills, as well as aunt Donna Margarett Hart, and cousin Lonnie Glenn Murphy.

A memorial service to honor Joe will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013.  The service will also be live streamed at the following link:https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/joseph-wills-hart. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.
