Joseph L. Correa, age 50, of Prosper, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was born on April 5, 1971, in Santa Ana, California, to Doreen (Romero) and Victor Correa. Joseph obtained his bachelor’s degree and worked as a business analyst in the micro chip industry. He married the love of his life, Tanya Teague, in Riverside, California, on January 22, 1994, and they were blessed with five children. Joseph was a proud husband and dad. He will forever be loved and missed by his wife and children.
Joseph is survived by his beloved wife, Tanya Correa; his children, Jazmine Correa of Chicago, Illinois, Jakob Correa of Prosper, Jemini Correa and partner, Alex Cardenas, of Prosper, Jackson Correa of Prosper, and Jace Correa of Prosper; his sisters, Daniella Correa and her husband, Rome Fernandez, of Houston, Nicole Wellborn and her husband, Michael, of Cleburne, and Sara Correa-Gammon and her husband, Joshua, of Ft. Worth, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Doreen and Victor Correa.
A mass of Christian burial will be at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church, 8000 Eldorado Pkwy., Frisco, Texas, on Monday, September 27, 2021, at 11:00 a.m.
