IN LOVING MEMORY

Joseph Antonucci

Jan 01 1952 - Jan 22 2026

Joseph Antonucci, 74, passed away on January 22, 2026, in McKinney, Texas.  He was born on January 1, 1952, in Massapequa, New York to his loving parents, Carmine Antonucci and Theresa Frances (Galgano) Antonucci.

Joe earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Farmingdale University in New York and went on to build a distinguished career in the aerospace industry. Over the years, he worked as an engineer for Fairchild Republic and Northrop Grumman, where he was respected for his intelligence, precision, and dedication to his work.

Beyond his professional achievements, Joe was a man of deep curiosity and passion. He was an avid collector of baseball cards, stamps, and coins, finding joy in the history and stories behind each piece. A lifelong fan of science fiction, he loved exploring imaginative worlds through books and films, always eager to discuss new ideas and possibilities.

Family was central to his life. Joe and his brother, John, were inseparable growing up—playing, working, and planning life together. Their father instilled strong family values, especially the bond between brothers, no matter the challenges life presented. Through every high and low, John knew he could always count on Joe. Beneath his rough exterior was a heart of gold, full of love for family and friends. John is deeply proud and grateful for the many years they shared as brothers.

Those who knew Joe will remember him as thoughtful, knowledgeable, and quietly devoted to the things and people he loved. His interests reflected a mind that never stopped learning and a spirit that appreciated both detail and wonder.

Joe is survived by his brother, John Antonucci of McKinney, Texas; sister, Grace Albrecht of Simi Valley, California; and a host of extended family members and friends, who will miss him and fondly cherish his memory.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Carmine and Theresa Antonucci, and sister, Josephine Yasinski.
