Jose Angel Arzola

Jose Angel Arzola of McKinney, Texas passed away on July 16, 2020 at the age of 88. He was born on December 20, 1931 to Eleuterio and Teodora (Ybarra) Arzola in Mexico.  Jose married Maria Arzola in 1953 in Mexico.  He was a wonderful family man who worked hard to provide for his family.  Once his wife passed away 15 years ago, he took over all the cooking, cleaning and did them both well.  He loved watching football, both college and professional.  But he especially loved cheering on the Cowboys.  Jose also enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gun Smoke.  More than most, he loved his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Maria Armijo and husband Ruben of McKinney, Texas, Pablo Arzola and wife, Maria Socorro of Sulpher Springs, Texas, Francisco Arzola and wife, Estella of McKinney, Texas, Max Arzola and wife, Geli of Plano, Texas, Sergio Arzola and wife, Daniella of McKinney, Texas, Angelica Pacheco and husband, Apolinar of McKinney, Texas, Yolanda Mendoza and husband, Javier of McKinney, Texas, Silbia Martinez and husband, Ricardo of McKinney, Texas, and Mirella Ramirez and husband, Jaime of McKinney, Texas; 26 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; brother, Rufino Arzola of Mexico; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Jose was preceded in death by his wife, Maria R. Arzola; daughter, Teondora Arzola; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and parents, Eleuterio and Teodora Arzola.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only invited guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page and a recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Jose’s obituary page.

However those who would like to honor Jose and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.
