Jose Maldonado of The Colony, Texas, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020, at the age of 72. He was born September 24, 1947, in San Luis Potsi, Mexico, to Atanacio Maldonado & Taide Rodriguez. He was a machine maintenance engineer in the recycling business. Jose was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend to many, and he will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Jose is survived by his spouse, Dora Trevino, of Houston, Texas; his beloved children, Monica Maldonado and her husband, Francisco Linan, of Little Elm, Texas, Joshua Daniel Maldonado and his wife, Brandi, of The Colony, Texas, and David Maldonado and his wife, Dolores, of Austin, Texas; and his precious grandchildren, Sonya, Ariana, Julissa, Joshua, Julia, Destiny, Aleah, Guido, Jade, Ever, Lana, Leah and Lola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Atanacio Maldonado & Taide Rodriguez and grandmother Julia.
A visitation will be held at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas, from 6 to 8 p.m. on February 13, 2020. The funeral will be held here on February 14, 2020, at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Noe Abrego. Interment to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas.
