Jonathan David Carl Goldammer

Jonathan David Carl Goldammer of Plano, Texas passed away on June 8, 2019 at the age of 29.  He was born on September 27, 1989 to David Goldammer and Lori Teal-Goldammer in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

Jonathan grew up loving baseball, math and all things electronic, and he thrived in his chosen field of Information and Technology. He loved everything about the mountains, and enjoyed hiking, camping, or just spending time outdoors. Jonathan had a passion for art, and would often spend his weekends with his friends attending music festivals and the live performances of his favorite artists.

He cherished his family and friends and adored his newborn daughter and her sister. He burned brightly, living everyday like it was his last and living it to its fullest. Jonathan loved his family and friends loyally and fiercely, and those who knew him loved him dearly. His was a kind and generous spirit that affected anyone with whom he came into contact. His legacy of kindness and respect will live on through all the lives he impacted. 

Jonathan is survived by his parents, David Goldammer and Lori Teal-Goldammer of Plano, Texas; sisters, Ann Rodgers and husband, Mark of McKinney, Texas, Renee Barelas and wife, Lupe of Prosper, Texas and Megan Spencer and husband, Josh of Plano, Texas; daughter, Ainsley Webster and her sister, Ashlyn Webster of McKinney, Texas; grandmothers, Anita Martinez of Nova Scotia, Canada and Diann Goldammer of McKinney, Texas; uncle and aunt, Dan and Sharon Goldammer of Plano, Texas; plus several other aunts and uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Allen Goldammer and James Teal.

The family requests memorial donations in Jonathan's memory be made to the Center on Addiction.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
