Jon Paul Hernadi, age 79, of Frisco, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was born November 11, 1941, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Nida Mae (Pobst) and Anthony Paul Hernadi. Jon proudly served his country in the United States Army then obtained his bachelor’s degree. He had a successful career as a general manager in the steel industry. Jon married the love of his life, Connie Lee Allen, on September 12, 1964, in Cincinnati, and they were blessed with four children. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
Jon is survived by his beloved wife, Connie Hernadi; his children, Michael Hernadi and his wife, LeeAnne, of Houston, Lisa Marie DeGroot and her husband, Patrick, of Irving, David Allen Hernadi and his wife, Maria, of Richmond, and Craig Hernadi and his wife, Tanya of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Melissa (Travis) Miller, Lauren (Max) Bradicich, Jordan Pugh, Jason DeGroot, Hannah Hernadi, Jessica Hernadi, Mica Pugh, Megan Hernadi, and Emma Hernadi; his great-grandchildren, Thomas Bradicich and James Bradicich.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Nida and Anthony Hernadi.
A Remembrance Gathering will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., with a rosary beginning at 5:00 p.m., officiated by Deacon Tomas Baca.
In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation be made to Paul's favorite Charity, St Jude's Children’s Research Hospital.
