Jon Alan Haverfield, age 71, of Plano, Texas passed away February 13, 2006, at his home. He was born September 3, 1934, in Nowata, Oklahoma to Allen K. and Hazel Willie (Paxton) Haverfield. He married Cleta Fae Mason on August 18, 1956, in Miami, Oklahoma. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Haverfield retired from Atlantic Richfield Research and Development, where he spent the majority of his career. He is survived by his wife, Cleta Haverfield of Plano, children Jamie Everett and husband, Brian of Plano, Judy Nelson of Plano, David Haverfield and Kathy Short of Richardson, and Donna Kay Cervantes and husband, Paul of Coppell; grandchildren, Jake, Phoebe, Rebecca Jon-Paul, Talia, Kayle and McKenzie; and brother, K P. Haverfield of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas.
