Mr. Johnny Mac Odle, age 69, of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 15, 2004, in McKinney. He was born on August 17, 1934 to David L. and Loretha Marie (Fennell) Odle in McKinney, Texas. He married Lynn Cundiff on January 25, 1958 in Allen, Texas. Mr. Odle served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the First Christian Church in Allen. He was the owner and operator of several grocery, restaurants and record shops and many other business in McKinney. Mr. Odle was honored nationally for saving a little girl, his classmate in the 1948 tornado in McKinney. He graduated from McKinney High School, where he was a star football player for 4 years. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Odle of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Megan Stuckle of Allen, Texas; son, John Odle of Farmersville, Texas; grandchildren, Scott Stuckle, Noah, Jesse, and Glory Odle; and brothers, Paul Odle of Garland, Texas and Mike Odle of McKinney, Texas. Mr. Odle was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bobby Odle. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, January 18, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Gary Speer officiating. Interment will follow at Allen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
