IN LOVING MEMORY

Johnnie L. White

May 21 1939 - Jul 09 2017

Johnnie Lou Keeter White was born May 21, 1939 in Kennesaw, Georgia.  She lived in several different states , and the family moved to Texas in 1973.  She and her husband, Jim were very active in the Baptist ministry.  Jim was minister of music and she played the organ.  They even traveled throughout Texas performing their music ministry.  She was a faithful and devoted servant of the Lord.  She had a beautiful smile and was always trying to help others even as her own health was failing.   She loved many things including the Dallas Cowboys, Hawaiian rolls, her friends at Prairie Estates, and her family but above all she loved the Lord.  She was a strong woman and an inspiration to all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim  in 2006 as well as her brother, Lamar and parents John and Lyda Keeter.   Survivors include her sister, Linda Johnson and her family, daughter, Kathryn E. White Gee, son-in-law, Glen Gee and step-daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lynch.  Grandchildren are Austin Gee and his wife Michelle and Kayla Gee as well as Hannah Neace,  Jared and Aaron Carl.  She has one great grandchild, Liberty and great-grandchild Garrett is due this month.  She also leaves behind several dear friends who are her extended family.  Ted Kirksey preceded her however his wife, Janet and her children Amy and Laura, Amy's husband Dan and children Sydney, William and Taylor with husband Clayton.   Laura's children Madison and Zoie with Tyler and baby Zia.  We all loved her very much and will miss her dearly.

A Graveside Service will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas 75033, on Saturday, July 15, 2017 beginning at 10:30 AM with Pastor Jack Smith. A Reception will be held immediately following the service at the home of her daughter and son-in-law at 6524 Riverhill Dr., Plano, Texas 75024. We invite you all to rejoice with us in her memory.
