Johnnie E. Fonville, age 51, of Blue Ridge, Texas, passed away June 24, 2010, in Blue Ridge. Johnnie was born May 23, 1959, in Big Spring, Texas, to Johnnie Thomas and Bernadine (Wood) Fonville. He married Frances Gale Young on June 4, 1976, in McKinney, Texas. Johnnie was an auto mechanic and a member of the Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Gale Fonville of Blue Ridge, Texas; son, Jason Fonville of Blue Ridge, Texas; daughters, Crystal Rogers and husband, Chris and Miranda Hamm, both of Blue Ridge; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Morgan, and Hunter; father, Johnnie “Bud” Fonville of Westminster, Texas; brother, Donnie Fonville and wife, Angie of Blue Ridge, Texas; sisters, Jannie Cruz of Blue Ridge, Texas and Shelly Smith of Westminster, Texas; step-brothers, James Anderson and wife, Terri of DeSoto, Texas, Ronnie Anderson and wife, Christie of Red Oak, Texas, and Tim Anderson and wife, Jessica of Whitewright, Texas; and step-sisters, Darlene “Dee Dee” Naquin of Franklin, Wisconsin and Terri Harris and husband, Raymond of Princeton, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernadine Cavendar, grandparents, Gaylord and Lillie Wood and Lydia Fonville, brother-in-law, Keith Hood, Sr., step-mother, Virginia Fonville, and father-in-law, Jesse Young. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 28, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
