John Michael Clemons was born to the parents of Abe and Mary Lee Clemons on October 26, 1964. He was the baby of the family and his mother made sure that he was treated as such! John attended school in the McKinney School District where he excelled in honor classes, spoke several languages, and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. John also was an avid Cowboys and Mavericks fan. He loved listening to all genres of music. When you saw him, he was usually sporting his favorite baseball cap! Even though he had a quiet demeanor, he worked hard and was respected by his co-workers. John had many, many friends and was known for his overwhelming kindness. He loved and was loved dearly by his family and friends. John had a compassionate, sweet spirit and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his sister, Lisa Clemons-Harris of Erath, Louisiana; nephew, Chad Jeter of Frederick, Oklahoma; nephew, Reese Allen of McKinney, Texas; niece, Alicia (Boo) Williams of Dallas, Texas; nephews, Leonard Jerome Harris of Houston, Texas and Lendon Jarod Harris of Houston, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Abe and Mary Lee Clemons; brother, Abe Maurice Clemons; sister, Cheryl Ann Williams; and nephew Clifford (Scooter) Williams.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, 75013.
