Mr. John Thomas Lashinsky, Jr. age 76, of Allen, Texas passed away December 30, 2009, in Frisco, Texas. He was born on December 11, 1933, in Bridgeport, Connecticut to John George Lashinsky, Sr. and Anna (Kalakay) Lashinsky. On May 7, 1960, he married Joan Bradley in Bridgeport. Mr. Lashinsky served his country in the U.S. Army for 2 years while stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Prior to his retirement 14 years ago, he was employed by Sikorsky Aircraft. Mr. Lashinsky was a member of the Monroe Congregational Church in Monroe, Connecticut. He is survived by his wife, Joan Lashinsky in Allen; son, John E. Lashinsky of Rhode Island; daughter, Sharon Lashinsky-Wigder and husband, Martin of Allen; granddaughters, Megan Wigder and Samantha Wigder; sister, Ruth McKane; niece, Peggy Samulowitz; and nephew, Frank McKane. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Lashinsky; and brother, William Lashinsky.
