John Joseph Penzenik, III of Allen, Texas, passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 80. He was born on April 29, 1944, in Proctor, Vermont, to his loving parents, Helen Biczko and John Penzenik, Jr.
He attended Neptune (NJ) High School and later pursued his education at Monmouth University in West Long Beach, New Jersey. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he attained the rank of First Lieutenant. His interests included flying, scuba diving and he was a gun enthusiast. He obtained his commercial pilot’s license and was a master scuba diver and instructor.
John is survived by his wife Ruthann of Allen, Texas. John and Ruthann were married in Bradley Beach, New Jersey on July 19, 1966. John is also survived by daughter Wendy Courson (Keith) of Allen, Texas; granddaughters, Megan and Madison; sister, Jeannette Streefland of Burnsville, Minnesota; brother-in-law, Alvord Palmer of Tarpon Springs, Florida; sister-in-law, Kay Smith of Stapleton, Alabama; and a host of other family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents.
