John “Jack” Edward Bloomer, age 80, of Dallas, Texas, passed away June 3, 2012, in Dallas. Jack was born January 17, 1932, in Dallas, Texas, to Ralph Edmond and Anna (Deymeka) Bloomer. He married Margaret Catherine Cerwin on April 4, 1964, in Dallas, Texas. Jack attended North Dallas High School and continued on to Texas A & M University where he graduated with a degree in engineering in 1953 and worked as a Fire Safety Inspection Engineer for the Fire Prevention and Engineering Bureau of Texas. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Jack loved life, was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his son, John Bloomer and wife, Denice of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Karen Ann Hawkins and husband, Miller of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and grandchildren, Barrett Hawkins, Travis Hawkin9s, Marc Bloomer, and Madison Bloomer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Margaret, on April 26, 2006.
