John Edward Odle, age 48, of McKinney, Texas, passed away on October 29, 2016. He was born September 6, 1968, in Houston, Texas to Johnny Mack and Alora Lynn (Cundiff) Odle. John was a 1987 graduate of Allen High School. He was self-employed for a great deal of his life with Ole John’s Tree Service, as well as Ole Johns Barbeque; he worked for Accurate Automatic. John was very much an outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf.
He is survived by his children, Noah Cheshier Odle, John Jesse Odle and Glory Odle all of Wylie, Texas; mother, Lynn Odle and stepfather, Kenneth Spurgin of McKinney, Texas; sister, Megan Stuckle and husband Paul of Allen, Texas; uncles, Tim Cundiff of Springdale, Arkansas and Mike Odle of McKinney, Texas; aunts, Karen Barrington of Alvarado, Texas and Pam Scott of Pagosa Springs, Colorado; nephew, Scott Stuckle; many other loving relatives and friends.
John is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Mack Odle.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation, being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
