John David Montelongo, Sr.

John David Montelongo, Sr. passed away on November 29, 2018 in Dallas, Texas.  He was born January 8, 1959 in Beeville, Texas to Juan and Baudelia Sanchez Montelongo.  He was a Pastor for 18 years at New Life In Christ Church  in Farmersville, Texas.  He married Maria Gomez on March 18, 1977 in Culleoka, Texas.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith. 

John is survived by; wife, Maria Montelongo, son, John David Montelongo, Jr. and wife Jackie, daughter, Amy Marie Montelongo, son, Josh Dean Montelongo and wife Rebecca, 10 grandchildren and brother, Andrew Montelongo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

A visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at New Life in Christ Church in Farmersville, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the church.  Pastor Sam Torrez will officiate.  Interment will follow in I. O. O. F. Cemetery in Farmersville, Texas.

Maria, so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. How hard this must be on you and your family. We have been out of town and just heard. If you need anything please let us know.
