John "Chris" Krueger

John Christian Krueger was born July 19, 1946 in Emporia, Kansas to Frederick C. Krueger and Delia Pearl White Krueger. He passed away October 8, 2019 in Denison, Texas at the age of 73.

Chris was a long time resident of Whitewright, Texas where he owned a machine shop for over 20 years. He had cattle, and a farm with thousands of chickens and various animals that all kept him on the go constantly. He donated yearly to the Whitewright School District as a sponsor for football shirts and prior to becoming ill frequented the Whitewright Dairy Queen on a daily basis.

Chris is survived by his daughter Johnna and husband Cody Summarsell of Whitewright and their two children Liam and Londyn; daughter Holly Krueger and her two sons K’Adren and Kyree all of Parsons, Kansas; daughter Lonnie and husband Mark Seele of Belvue Kansas and their three children, Justin and wife Katlyn and their daughter Evelyn, Erik and Ashley and their daughter Aurora, and David; daughter Kristie Jolene and her husband Mike Kent of Olathe, Kansas; daughter Tammy and husband Mike Kabriel of Topeka, Kansas; special niece Amy Jackson of Reading, Kansas; brother Richard Krueger, and sister Patricia and her husband Jim O’Brien all of Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Frederick C and Delia Pearl White Krueger; brothers Glenn and Jim Krueger.

Funeral Services will be held 2PM Monday, October 14, 2019, Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas. Brother Luke Cyr will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Lucas, David Reeves, Manuel Cruz, Cody Summarsell, and Frank Chavez. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Whitewright. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 1PM until service time at 2PM Monday, October 14, 2019, Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Whitewright, Texas.
