John Charles Fincher

John Charles Fincher, age 93, of Frisco, Texas passed away on January 30, 2017. He was born on October 23, 1923 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Anna Jewel (Blackburn) and Charles Agustus (Gus) Fincher, II. On June 15, 1946, John married Gruemella Burton in Marlow, Oklahoma. John served in the Army Air Corp as a Sergeant during World War II.  He was the Founder of Fincher Flavor Products in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  He and his wife of almost 70 years moved to Frisco, Texas in 2013 to be closer to family.   

John is survived by his daughter, Jennetta James and her husband, Darrel of Frisco, Texas; two grandchildren; Christopher W. James and his wife, Mikka and Jennifer K. Burden and her husband, Brandon; seven great-grandchildren, Jadyn James, Carson James, Campbell James, and Harper James of Prosper, Texas;  Jensyn Burden, Breckyn Burden and Barron Burden of Prosper, Texas; sisters-in-law Marie Burton of Duncan, Oklahoma and Jean Fincher of Benbrook, Texas; three brothers-in-law, Hurland and his wife, Evelyn Burton of Marlow, Oklahoma; Randall and his wife, Nancy Burton of Marlow, Oklahoma, and Vernon and his wife, Joetta Burton of Palestine, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews.  

John is preceded in death by his wife, Gruemella Fincher; brother, Bobby Gus Fincher; parents, Anna and Charles Agustus Fincher.
