He was a sweetheart in high school. May god be with each of you in your time of sorrow. Dianne Loftice Brown, March 22, 2010 We have known John & Patsy for over 40 yrs. & will never forget all the great times we had. We were close neighors out @ the Apple's place & had some great times! Patsy was there when I met Johnny & will never forget her telling me to stay away from him & here we are 43 yrs. later. I will never forget John's laugh & the way he could put a smile on my face from that alone. The only time we saw him over the past few yrs. was at Wal-Mart checking out the new fishing gear & when I'd ask where Patsy was he'd laugh & say "Oh, she's around here somewhere." Although we didn't see him much we always looked forward to our visits at Wal-Mart. He was such a great man, loving husband, wonderful father, grandfather & friend. He will most certainly be missed! Patsy, you & your family will be in our thoughts & prayers. I know John will be missed by his family and friends. He joins several others from our class, the greatest under heaven. Robbie Clark, March 22, 2010 John was a great person. He never had anything bad to say about anyone or anything. I would be at work and no matter what mood I was in I would see him walk up and instantly he would make me laugh! He did not even have to say a word, just the way he would look at me and say "Oh no, if she is here Im leavin!" That's just how he was. I wish he could have stayed around longer. He really was a wonderful and caring person, father and grandpa! God has got himself a permanant fishin buddy from now on!! We love and miss you John. We are prayin for you all.
