I knew John when we were boys in San Francisco - we were both in Boy Scout Troop 14. There is a picture of John as a Scout in the troop's portrait album. I knew his mother, June, too; she was a most charming and delightful lady. She was the favorite of the many hostesses for whom she worked at parties. My deepest sympathies to you all.
