Mr. John W. Alexander, age 67, of Fairview, Texas passed away September 27, 2004, at North Central Medical Center. He was born June 16, 1937, in Denison, Texas to Bert R. and Viola (Furgerson) Alexander. On July 2, 1960, he married Janice Lee Weems in Madill, Oklahoma. Mr. Alexander was retired and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Janice Lee Alexander; sons, Roy Dale Alexander and wife, Janice Sue of Red Oak, Texas and Charles Wesley Alexander and wife, Janice Sue of McKinney; daughters, Sharon Haynes and husband, Gary of Bonham, Texas and Dina Lowrance and husband, Billy of Princeton, Texas; brothers, Bill Ray Alexander and wife, Gean of Jefferson, Texas, Gerald W. Alexander and wife, Tina of Golden, Texas and James L. Alexander and wife, Carolyn of Blue Ridge, Texas; sisters, Lucille Marie Daniels and husband, Billy of Princeton, Texas, Helen Dungan and husband, Wilford of Whiteright, Texas; Patsy A. Alexander of McKinney and Sue Kay Alexander of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Chance Wesley Alexander and Meagan Lee Alexander both of McKinney; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert R. and Viola Alexander; and sister, Valerie Alexander. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Malcolm Cave officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
