Johana C. Henderson, age 84, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away on December 27, 2017 in Farmersville, Texas. She was born September 1933 in Paris, Texas to Alfred and Carrie Morgan Williams. She married Robert Lee Henderson on February 17, 1961 in Dallas, Texas. She was a teacher’s aide with Tatum Elementary School for 27 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmersville.
Mrs. Henderson is survived by; sons, Robert Lewis Henderson and wife Kimberly of Longview, Texas, James Randall Henderson and wife Blythe of Murphy, Texas and Darrell Glenn Henderson and wife Jacqueline of Plano, Texas, 5 grandchildren, Dalton Henderson, Ashley Henderson , Colby Henderson and wife Regan, O’Mara Alexander and husband Corey and Oren Cummings, 2 great-grandchildren, Ireland Alexander and Brinley Alexander, many nieces and nephews, dear friend, Brenda Jones and several close friends who comforted her to the end.
She was preceded in death by husband, Robert Lee Henderson on December 27, 2007 and grandson, Dylan Henderson on January 17, 1992.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hurst’s Fielder Baker Funeral Home in Farmersville, Texas.
A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Farmersville, Texas. Rev. Terri Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Cemetery in Blue Ridge, Texas.
