Joe Bob Williams of Carrollton, Texas passed away on February 25, 2022 at the age of 70. He was born on July 29, 1951 to John William and Jonnie Imagene (Maynor) Williams in Fort Worth, Texas. Joe Bob was a 1969 graduate from Caprock High School in Amarillo, Texas. He married Suzanne Christine Wehrfritz on February 17, 1990 in Carrollton, Texas. Joe Bob was a master electrician, a lover of music and an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Sue Williams of Carrollton, Texas; son, Todd Williams and wife, Maura of Arlington, Virginia; stepdaughter, Leigh O’Bryan and husband, Joey of Los Angeles, California; stepson, Morgan Videan and wife, Jennifer of Lewisville, Texas; grandchildren, Maren Williams, Sydney Williams, and Grant Videan; sister, Margaret W. Jones; brothers, Vernon G. Williams, Johnnie M. Williams, and Jimmy H. Williams; and numerous other loving family and friends.
Joe Bob was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jonnie Williams.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen. A celebration of life reception will be held 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Midway Point, 14831 Midway Rd., #101 in Addison.
The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or your favorite charity to benefit veterans.
