A memorial service for Joe Alfred Wagley, 63 year old Leonard resident, is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday October 10, 2009 at the Valley Creek Baptist Church near Leonard, Texas. Mr. Wagley was born November 4, 1945 at Plains, Texas. His parents were James Starks and Mary Jeanette Beard Wagley. He is a High School Graduate, a member of the Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked for many years as a handyman. Mr. Wagley passed away at his residence Monday October 5, 2009. He will be cremated and his cremains will be buried at a cemetery at Plains, Texas where other relatives are buried. He is survived by a sister: Joy Annett Dinwiddie of Brownfield, Texas.
