JoAnne Francis Hauserman, age 79, entered into eternal life on January 22, 2026, in Plano, Texas, strengthened by the sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church and in the presence of her loving husband and daughter.
JoAnne Erickson was born May 22, 1946 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1964. A devout Catholic, JoAnne lived a life rooted in prayer, devotion to the Holy Eucharist and the Rosary. Her life reflected a deep trust in God's mercy and a quiet witness to the teachings of the Gospel.
JoAnne is survived by her dedicated husband, Monte Hauserman, of Plano, Texas; sons, Tom (Sharon) Lilly of Ankeny, Iowa and Ron (Amy) Lilly of Clive, Iowa; daughter, Rhonda (Dan, Cade, Reece) Kinsey of Plano, Texas; and sister, Phyllis DeHeck of Montgomery, Alabama, with nephews Doug and Michael.
JoAnne was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Campbell and granddaughter, Madison Lilly.
Throughout her life, JoAnne found joy in parish involvement, decorating her home, entertaining family and friends and baking Italian cookies. JoAnne never met a stranger, she made friends with everyone and bore witness to Christ's love through acts of kindness, charity and sharing everything she had with others.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on February 14, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. followed by an inurnment at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, Texas.
