Jo Juanna Dickey Bates was born June 27, 1941. She passed away on January 30, 2014, at the age of 72. She is survived by her husband, Max of Allen, Texas; daughter, Vicki Bates and grandsons, Max and Jered Bates all of Allen, Texas; mother, Eula Dickey of Gainesville, Texas; sisters, Judy Barnes of Gainesville, Texas, Jane Barnett of Denison, Texas, Jaci Stoolfire of Southmayd, Texas; and sister-in-law, Naomi Bates of Clarkston, Georgia. She would like her immediate family to know that she loved all of you very much. She is also survived by four nieces, four nephews and numerous cousins from her mother and father’s family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Allen.
