Jimmy Wayne Bicknell, age 80, of Frisco, Texas, returned to his heavenly home on July 2, 2019, in Plano, Texas. He was born on September 4, 1938, in Bonham, Texas, to Lois Bell (Stewart) and Dwight Bicknell. Jimmy married the love of his life, DeLinda Lee (LePori) Bicknell on September 15, 1961, in Irving, Texas. He worked for the government as an engineer.
Left to treasure his memory are his children, Kelly Bicknell and his wife, Kristi, of Quinlin, Texas, Traci Taylor and her husband, Jim, of Sachse, Texas, and Kimberly Kensinger and her husband, Brian, of Frisco, Texas; his grandchildren, Taylor Bicknell, Josh Burger, Jordan Bicknell, Zach Kensinger and Shelby Kensinger; his sister, Donna Bicknell of McKinney, Texas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, DeLinda Bicknell, and his parents.
The family invites friends to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Sunday, July 7, 2019, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Prestonwood Baptist Church, 6801 W. Park Blvd., Plano, Texas, on Monday, July 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. The service will be officiated by Pastor Charles Hebert. Interment to follow at Oakgrove Memorial Park in Irving.
