Jimmie D. Feagins “Gas Man” of Farmersville, Texas passed away on March 4, 2021 at the age of 74. He was born November 2, 1946 in Lewisville, Texas.

He was a 1966 graduate of W.T. White High School in Dallas, Texas. He worked in the propane industry for 26 years. Jimmie changed careers in 2000, going to work at Collin County Public Works where he retired after nearly 12 years.

He was an avid storyteller and a generous friend. He enjoyed everything that involved old guns. He found great joy in tinkering with his antique vehicles and tractors.

Jimmie is survived by his significant other, Sue NeSmith; step-father Kenneth Feagins; siblings Cookie Feagins and Ray Feagins; children Lara Feagins, J.C. Feagins (girlfriend Michele), April Feagins (boyfriend William), and Tal Feagins (wife Kallay); grandchildren Britni Sheffield-Reid (husband Owen), Clay Feagins (fiancée Heather), Ross Feagins, Reyna Delgadillo, William Delgadillo Jr., Autumn Delgadillo, Tyler Young, Ryder Feagins, Rhett Feagins; and his “adopted” grandchild Jordan Holland (husband Holton).

Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother, Leatha and granddaughter, Layne Young.

There will be a remembrance gathering with lunch provided at The Hidden Jewel, 7611 Clay Drive, Blue Ridge, Texas on Sunday, March 21, 2021, from 1:00-4 p.m.
