October 20, 1930 - January 10, 2019

Jimmie Lou White of McKinney, Texas passed away January 10, 2019 at the age of 88.  She was born October 20, 1930 to James F. Russell and Vera Ida (Wright) Russell in McKinney, Texas. Jimmie was raised in McKinney, attended McKinney schools and lived her entire life there in McKinney. She married Jack Foster White on June 22, 1948 in McKinney. Jimmie was secretary for State Farm Insurance for thirty-five years before her retirement. She enjoyed trap shooting and was an avid reader. Jimmie loved shopping and going dancing at the senior center. She was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church in McKinney.

Jimmie is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Campbell of McKinney, Texas, Audrey Harpole also of McKinney, Texas, and Bobbie Brown of Quitman, Texas; nieces, Anita Brown and Louann Derryberry; many beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Foster White, parents and sisters, Ruth Wright, Katheryn Bridgefarmer, Doris Glover, Billie Cave and Juanita Russell.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 13, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Saturday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
