Mrs. Jimmie Lee (Davis) Conerly of Bakersfield California was born on August 12, 1935, to Earnest Davis and Eunice Pickens (Davis) in Pickings, Mississippi. Jimmie Lee transitioned life at home with the love of her life Willie McGowan by her side on Sunday July 11, 2021. Jimmie Lee's hobbies were gardening, shopping, listening to the Blues. Jimmie Lee Loved drinking Pepsi’s eating Orange Slices and Hamburgers. Her favorite television programs were I love Lucy, Sanford & Son, Judge Judy and Jerry Springer.

Jimmie Lee is survived by her Life Partner of 43 years Willie McGowan of Bakersfield, CA her children Ann (June) Caldwell, Linda Davis and Jackie Davis all of Memphis, TN, Alfred Conerly of Atlanta, GA, Ray Conerly and Sharon Conerly both of Memphis, TN, Terry Jerome Conerly Sr. (Michelle) of Plano, TX. A sister Minnie Lee Allen Memphis, TN. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many family friends.

Jimmie Lee was preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Eunice Davis and son Eddie Tempton Her brothers and sisters Margret Wallace, Earnest Davis, Earlest Davis, Henry Lee Davis, Roosevelt Davis, Astoria Davis, and Rosie Lee Davis.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, July 23, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.  The service will also live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Jimmie’s obituary page by clicking on the following link:  https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/jimmie-lee-conerly.  After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
