Jimmie Keith Jordan of Allen, Texas passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 81. He was born on August 26, 1941 to Boyden Delmas and Wilma Kathryn (Stout) Jordan in Muncie, Indiana. Jimmie graduated from Muncie Central High School. While in high school Jim worked as a TV repair man. After high school, Jim served on the Muncie Police Department and worked his way up to Captain before leaving the force. From repairing TVs, Jimmie joined Owens Illinois as an associate on their tech side of things and later to safety, security, and human resources. While at O-I, Jim went to night school at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana for a few semesters. After about 13 years, Jim and family moved to Allen, Texas. Jim met his wife, Lorraine in 1971 and were married in 1973 in Rossford, Ohio. Together they raised their family with love, laughter, and sarcasm. Jim was a quick-witted man that left his family and friends laughing. Jim loved to watch NASCAR, always cheering for Dale Earnhardt and Dale, Jr. Jim was a talented photography and always captured the perfect moments. Jim and Lorraine had many dogs throughout the years and Jim always treated them as another member of the family.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Jordan of Allen, Texas; daughter, Carolyn Davis and husband, Todd of Fruitvale, Texas; son, Jim Jordan, Jr. of Swanton, Ohio; daughter, Kathryn “Pauline” Jordan and husband, Micah Simoneaux of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Jim III, Corey, Courtney, Jesse, Allen, Jordan, Olivia, and Tyler; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Jordan; survived by numerous other family and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cheryl Jordan.
