Jimmie Dean Parrack of Richardson, Texas passed away July 11, 2023 at the age of 88. He was born on July 24, 1934 to Marion Ellsworth Parrack and Ethel Lucille (Little) Parrack in Covington, Oklahoma. Jimmie studied at Southwestern Assemblies Of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. He married Maxine Carol Rose on February 15, 1959 in Brookefield, Missouri. Jimmie worked as a furniture manufacturers representative for many years and was a great salesman. He loved to travel and collected small trains. Jimmie also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping with his family and cooking his specialties. He was a devoted member of the Assembly of God. Jimmie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved him.
Jimmie is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Maxine Parrack of Richardson, Texas; son, Todd Parrack of McKinney, Texas; granddaughters, Maggie Jacobsen and husband, Matt of Duncanville, Texas and McKenzie Brooker and husband, Danny of Washington D.C.; grandsons, Max and Jake Parrack, both of Richardson, Texas; great-grandchildren Ryan, Lane and Hank Jacobsen of Duncanville, Texas; Mila Brooker of Washington D.C.; sisters, Jane Wright and husband, Rev. Harold Wright of Pierce City, Missouri and Sue Sneller of Amarillo, Texas; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Ethel Parrack; son, Joey Parrack; and brother, Edgar Lee Parrack.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon, Monday, July 17, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location. Following the service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
