Jim C. Poston, age 52, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 13, 2009, in McKinney. Jim was born November 6, 1957, in McKinney, Texas, to Jack Ross and Bashie Odessa (Hurt) Poston. He attended Baylor University from 1976 – 1979. Jim was a real estate broker associate at RES Real Estate Services of McKinney and a past member of Jaycees in McKinney. He was also a member of First Baptist Church in McKinney. He is survived by his fiancé, Debbie Winford of McKinney, Texas; Debbie’s children, Becky and Mike Davis of Euless, Texas, Garrett Winford of Springtown, Texas and Debbie’s grandchildren, Shaye Winford and Lana Davis; sister, Jacque Waddell and husband, Gary of Princeton, Texas; nieces, Brianna Corbitt and husband, Chad of Wylie, Texas and Morgan Ford and husband, Jamie of Blue Ridge, Texas; nephew, Ben Waddell and wife, Julia of Copeville, Texas; several great nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. Randy Morlan officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
